The Huff group session lobby: everyone waiting for the next round, with a shared countdown
A Huff session running: the round, the breath, and the room riding along

What actually happens

Everyone in the room breathes the same session at the same moment, from their own front room. There is no camera and no microphone, and no way to turn one on. Nobody speaks and nobody is presenting. Before it starts you see the others as faces gathering in a lobby; while it runs they're quiet stars on your screen. That is the whole of the social part.

Your hold is your own: come out of it whenever you like. It changes nothing for anyone else. No scores, nothing to win, and you can leave at any point.

Never done this style of breathing? Read what Wim Breathing is and what it feels like, before you turn up.

Before you join

This kind of breathing can make you lightheaded, which is normal, but it means where you do it matters. Never in or near water, never while driving, and not standing up. Lie down somewhere you'd be fine if you drifted off. Don't force the breath, and stop if anything feels wrong.

Don't practise it at all if you're pregnant, or if you have a heart condition, high blood pressure, any cardiovascular problem, or epilepsy.

What's Huff?

A breathwork app: guided Wim Breathing, box breathing, guided meditations from real teachers, and a Focus Trainer that turns daily practice into a habit. Group sessions are free to join and run twice a day, at 6:10am and 10pm UK time, so if you miss this one the room comes back.
